I am a writer.

I am interested in:

1. The seemingly small life moments which are in fact significant and meaningful
2. The collective narrative in which we all participate and how we can weave together stories which bend the narrative toward equality, justice, and peace
3. Not wasting the gift of this one precious life (shout out Mary Oliver)

I live and write on an island in the Pacific Northwest – which is as cozy as it sounds. I have two cats – Gaiman (as in Neil) and Carl Atwood (as in Margaret). Indeed, I am a childless cat lady.
